Shooting Guns For Fun in Oklahoma

Well, this is very dandy. There are people out there, who like to shoot guns for fun. There are no targets, no challenges or, for that matter, no skills required. You just pay to go behind a gun and shoot it. Even though I have never been a hunter, a soldier, or a big paintball fan, I always understood that there is an objective to all of them. Getting joy out of using machinery intended to kill people, somehow crosses the line for me. It’s fascinating how amused we are by metal, noise and shininess. We like the idea of holding the trigger and having more power for a couple of seconds.
It is videos like this one that make me wonder if those people really take themselves seriously. What exactly are they thinking when they are shooting that minivan (which by the way is very combat-like)? I just like to look at their smiling faces after they’ve shot the gun.

Some Things Really Annoy Me

ConfusionI know that people don’t know who Ocean Vice is, or maybe they are not ready to know? Either way, I hope that as this site gets more exposure, people will be genuinely interested in who stands behind this corporate monster called BadGeneration… I also hope that I won’t be talking to myself much longer.

In the meantime I would like to tell you something which really annoys me. Check it: it is people who imitate having an accent in front of people who actually have an accent. I know it is a bit complicated, but once you look at how pathetic it is, you will feel the same way. Imagine that you have an accent, sexy or not, and you are constantly imitated by those around you. You have heard thousands of imitations, seen many types of stupid expressions, but people still think that they can amuse you by doing a terrible interpretation of the way that you speak.

As with almost all of my posts, I would like to look even deeper into the issue and get some sort of a global perspective on it. It all comes down to people having common sense and a general understanding about their surroundings, which they don’t. See, if you stop and think before you actually imitate someone’s accent, you would understand that others have tried the same thing before you. And have failed miserably. Thank you for your attention.

Your Kids Are Perverted, Deal With It

Bill O\'ReillyI’ve been hearing a lot about the “dissapearing” values among the myspace-facebook-cell phone generation. They are growing up so fast, sharing nude pictures with each other and just not caring about the world around them. They are playing computer games, not going outside and ignoring their parents. Such a bad generation, isn’t it. Getting more independent, taking advantage of the technology that has been shoved in their faces and most importantly, questioning their parents’ authority.

But nobody wants that. Let’s sit them down and explain that there is study time, there is play time, there is God time and then there is sleepy time. No questions asked. Parents are the ultimate authority, closely followed by the government. It doesn’t matter that the divorce rates have been so high, or that alcohol and Victoria’s secret ads are practically everywhere. Once you realize how ironic all of those arguments are, it slowly hits you that maybe the real issues are somewhere else. How come cigarette smoking is considered a bad habit, and smoking weed is a crime? What about alcohol, if it kills so many people every year why do they advertise it on TV so much? I have to be honest, World of Warcraft and porn are better than lung cancer and being paralyzed. No?

Why Does Your Country Suck?

Having spent most of my life living outside of the US, I often wonder how easy it is for one to have misconceptions about other countries.  Sure, anybody can pronounce the name of a country.  However, when it comes down to other cultures, most rely on things that they have heard or watched, rather than things they have experienced.  We are constantly bombarded with so much information, that we begin to accept it for what it is without questioning it.  We want to have an opinion.  Have you wondered how you have formed your opinion?

1. News Channels – sure, you might say that you don’t watch them, but they always find a way to creep up on you.  They will make sure that you know something, and you know it well.  Because of news channels, millions of people have very educated opinions about Iraq and its future.  That’s not all.  News channels nowadays want to enhance the viewer’s experience by providing cinematic elements – like heartfelt music when having a heartfelt moment during a segment preceding somebody’s dog being castrated.  In other words, facts are not enough – we need shiny graphics, and a soundtrack to piece in all together in our fragile minds.

If Dogs Could Speak

“I don’t want to be reincarnated as a dog”- Ocean Vice

“Please help me”- dog from 1:35 sec of the video

Who knows, maybe all of those dogs were mass murders in their previous lives, but even they don’t deserve such a treatment. How freaking bored must you be, in order to take the time, dress your dog in a cheap costume, and then take pictures of the holocaust that you have created? So many years of evolution – only to end up dressed as a freaking pirate and appear on a YouTube video. For a second I dreamed that one day our stupidity will be so overwhelming, that our furry friends will finally get their revenge. And elect me as a ruler.
