Incredibly Bad Lyrics

I’ve had my fair share of bad lyrics, but every once in a while I come across a song that is such an incredible wreck, that it breaks all possible standards. The song is called “I Kissed A Girl” by Kerry Perry:

I have to admit, it’s catchy, radio-friendly and somewhat original. However, I don’t think that guys can relate to this. Ok, she kissed a girl and she liked it — what’s the big deal? What’s up with the use of the word “liked it.” She didn’t love it, she didn’t go crazy about it, but she just “liked it” and that’s why she made a song about it. Maybe she is a bisexual or a lesbian, I’m happy that she is finally getting in terms with her sexuality; but the song serves absolutely no purpose.

There is so much wrong with the lyrics above. I understand that such songs exist and that they don’t have to have hidden meanings, but the garbage above just crosses the line. Lil’ John puts more thought in his lyrics,come on. Can you imagine the male version of this song? That would be hilarious.
