Get Clean Now

Imagine that you are driving in a small neighborhood and you see a logo saying “Maid to Clean.” I just did that yesterday and it spurred a lot of confusion in my consumerism-free mind. Apparently, the mastermind who made that name realized that she can play with the words “made” and “maid,” in order to create a very catchy, trendy, cleaning company. That’s fine. My question is — what is her freaking problem?
Who in the world is made to clean? They weren’t born or reincarnated. They were made, you know, like robots (chips and everything). Imagine how those who work there feel.
“Hey, where are you working?” - Ocean Vice
“I am a “maid to clean” - a maid to clean Employee
“(thinking) Why?” - Ocean Vice
Now, there is no doubt (in my mind) that many jobs nowadays are just an advance form of slavery, but why do they have to promote this in their name. Why not call their company “hard working maids,” “maid to be perfect,” or “maid it so far”. Nobody wants to clean for living, and those who actually do it wouldn’t want to participate in that mockery of a company.
Who uses that kind of service anyways? People who don’t want to clean. Does that mean that people who don’t want to clean weren’t made to clean, or that they are so spoiled and idiotic that they have to call “Maid To Clean” in order to have their couch cleaned, while they are watching “Baby Borrowers”. I prefer the latter.
Take a look at this testimonial:
We have been clients…of Maid to Clean® since the company started in 1996. They are always pleasant and have always taken such pride in their work. We have always found them reliable and flexible whenever we required extra work, or rescheduling. Ms. Bermudez’s, the owner of Maid to Clean®, professionalism and fairness towards her competent staff and clients is the key to the success of her company. It is always nice to come home to a sparking clean home the day Maid to Clean® has been here.
The name is Bermudez. Ms. Bermudez. As you are probably thinking, the overwhelming evidence suggests that such a mastermind came from Bermuda, created her evil empire in 1996 and then disappeared with her minions to return in 2008 and work in FOX news. Notice how they mention the name of the company three times, with the little “r” circle after the name. Wow, I am sure that there are million people just waiting to use this groundbreaking name for their own evil empires. Nice job. They even have a nice picture in their website. Those people may be happy after all. I wonder if they use that car?

Wow! I admire the keen mind that wrote this particular post! Very clever observation and honestly, I feel the same way especially the part where you have ” They were made, you know, like robots (chips and everything)” part.

I don’t think companies should confuse America’s youth by misusing homonyms! They’re confused enough already!

@ rchrd - thank you very much
@the minimalist - homonyms, yes, I was wondering what they were called haha. I think that companies try their hardest to be unique, but they don’t realize that it has to make sense in the end.
